Error while checking for updates via Zune In HTC 7 Mozart running Windows® Phone 7.8

I have an HTC 7 Mozart running windows phone 7.8 ,

and when I try to update it via zune it gives me an error “We can’t check for updates” with error code 8000FFFF . I tried using two different PCs , but even though it did not work..

The two PCs  are a desktop and a laptop

desktop’s OS:Windows 10 pro edition not to mention professional edition

Laptop’s OS:Windows 8.1 pro edition not to mention professional edition

1.Does anyone know how to fix this? , 2. Is the problem with my windows phone / Zune or PC itself and 3.Does this work out without any errors on windows 7

Is reinstalling my phone’s OS a good solution?

I think it may not work because Zune  was discontinued…

Or it is not working because my phone is released on 2010.

give me some tips on how to fix this or tell me if you have the same question
